These is nothing wrong with either of these things. While it is not a garunteed fix for everybody, it has been reported to work for a good number of players though this fix does not appear to work for PS3. It has been suggested that the beta build of this mod is the best way to tackle this crash. Please inform me if I should include additional suggested fixes as they come up. As stated, I am no expert in this topic.
Thank you for your time and efforts, good luck in your issue resolutions, and thank you to all of you who work to make this community awesome. It's that time again. The previous crash help thread hit six months of age, so I am making another.
When these stop getting regular posts, I will stop hosting them, but I don't see it stopping anytime soon based on the rate of comments I tend to get in these. The old post recently hit the six month mark and expired, so new posts could no longer be made. Considering people were still using the thread, I have decided to post and sticky another.
I realize that some of these issues that are posted could be considered old, but I have not received news from any players that they are no longer valid fixes, so I have kept them here.
If you have updates to said fixes or news that they should be removed, please let me know. I do not have Windows 10, so I cannot be up to date with every issue within it, but I will gladly do what I can to help people who still have it.
That being said, it will lead to some information possibly being outdated, since I will not be experiencing issues with Windows 10 in real time like some others users will be, nor can I reasonably try to replicate said issues. Please keep that in mind when posting here. If you are using mods, providing a screenshot of your mod load order can be very useful to us.
As with last time, I do encourage you to message me privately if you have updates you think I should highlight on this thread. If you are looking for an entirely fresh start on your game after having used mods, this is the process for creating a completely fresh playthrough. To my knowledge, it is still the best way to accomplish a clean slate.
It has been suggested that this mod is the best way to tackle this crash. As of the reposting of this thread, I am not sure if this is still accurate, as I no longer use Windows Left over files, that you may be unaware of, have the potential to buck you off the horse.
