Yakuza 6 features a robust and flexible system of fighting and leveling up Kiryu. Even if you're a veteran of the series, our Tips and Tricks may help you decide on the route you wish to take for both your personal style and for efficiency in combat.
The Tips and Tricks pages will not cover Mini-games , which get their own sections of the wiki. IGN's Walkthrough for Yakuza 6 will be as spoiler-free as possible, but revealing some of the names of the bosses especially toward the end may give you more information than you may want.
This wiki will not cover any cut scenes or provide screenshots of them, but it may warn you when particular cut scenes happen so you know when and how to prepare for what comes after. The walkthrough , like the game, is divided into 15 parts. The main crux of the story is comprised of 13 chapters, with a prologue and an epilogue for game mechanics. Yakuza 6 features a host of Mini-games that will grant Kiryu loads of experience points and other rewards. Some of the mini-games are complex enough that they could be entire games in their own right, and we'll cover those in greater detail on their individual pages here.
Sub Stories are the side quest system of Yakuza 6. While all of them are optional, some of them unlock new features or activities of the game, and you'll always be rewarded for chasing them. Any remaining Sub Stories or Mini-Games you want to experience will be available then, and nothing is permanently missable. More information will be in the Epilogue page of the wiki.
