For those that are arachnophobic, this is the perfect mod for you. For anyone who is a fan of their Friendly Neighbourhood Spiderman, then this is right up your street also. It also edits their sounds so they do not sound as terrifying.
They will still attack, but now look but less fearsome. No pictures needed for this one. This mod acts as an umbrella for all the mods available that are able to update graphics, characters, items, the works. Bringing in external assets and plastering them all over Skyrim, sometimes it can look like a completely different game. It helps bring the textures in line with the Special Edition so those volumetric God rays you hear so much about now have more bang for their buck.
Nicer Children — For want of another word, the children in Skyrim are all… mean. Especially to you, the Dragonborn if only they knew what you could do. This mod rearranges the map to make it easy for you to find routes between cities and chooses most of the routes you might easily miss otherwise. As soon as you release your Dragonblood, the appearance of these winged reptiles will become as regular as the rain.
So why not spice up their vision on the horizon with this mod, which introduces 28 new dragons, each with a different pattern and texture. A small addition, but one that makes all the difference: you feel wet in rainy weather and frost tints your body when you go through a blizzard.
Among other things, this equine mod has a new horse AI so your mount will run away from combat, more stamina therefore more galloping , invulnerability particularly useful for me since I tend to follow Leeroy Jenkins every time. Note: The PC link leads to the Bethesda. For the leeches among you, this mod will definitely be a favorite, as it turns Volkihar Castle into a small town, finally making it look like you really are one of the elite of bat lovers and their walks.
Have you ever had enough of dragons? I will keep this brief: download it. It fixes a ton of bugs and is compatible with the vast majority of mods. If you get no other mods at all, do yourself a favour and get this one. From Brand-Shei getting locked in jail forever even though he's only supposed to be there for a week or two, to weapons not upgrading correctly, and even broken quests, this patch turns Skyrim into what the developers intended it to be, without adding any extra bells or whistles.
This mod is essential for anyone playing as a Khajiit, or if you're roleplaying as a character born and raised in Elsewyr. It overhauls all of the dialogue so that your character has the syntax and vocabulary of a Khajiit, as well as their famously witty personality.
It's a fantastic mod that really adds some depth to any Khajiit playthrough. Aetherius changes the boons and powers of all the different races in Skyrim. Now, instead of having a power that you can use once per day, all races will have more useful passives that are constantly active. This makes your choice of race at the beginning of the game carry far more weight as you go through.
Ordinator revamps the perk system to make each perk tree more interesting. Instead of just boosting numbers, each perk tree now has far more skills and powers available to use. This makes Skyrim a very different game to play and is great if you're getting bored of the Vanilla perks. Apocalypse adds over 30 new spells per school of magic. The Vanilla spells are alright, but after ten years of Skyrim , they're a bit dull now.
Apocalypse adds loads of lore-friendly spells that will make a mage playthrough far more exciting. This mod updates all of the 13 Standing Stones so that they now feature passive boosts instead of active powers. It also disables the experience boost on the Guardian Stones so that you're more encouraged to switch Stones to match your playstyle. This is a fun mod that makes the Standing Stones far more impactful. No longer will enemies be perfect aimbots, tracking your every move and hitting you with stabbing attacks even though you've clearly strafed to the left.
All enemy attacks are reconfigured to be a bit more realistic in how they can hit you. Sweeping attacks have a wider damage radius, and slicing and stabbing attacks have a smaller one.
If you want food in Skyrim to actually have some sort of value, then this is the mod for you. Now you'll need to manage your character's hunger, thirst, and energy levels by eating, drinking, and sleeping regularly. This is perfect for those players who want to bring something more into the game without getting too crazy. Project Flintlock - Who hasn't ever wanted to play Skyrim with a trusty firearm in their possession.
This mod does just that and allows players to obtain a Flintlock Rifle, a Blunderbuss, and a Grenade Launcher as well as their assorted ammo types.
These weapons can then be found out in the game's world in a new location added to the map, which then allows the player to use them against the different enemies in the game. Who needs magic when you can just launch a grenade into Alduin's face instead? Become High King of Skyrim - After all of the different things that the Dragonborn has done for the land of Skyrim, you would think that they would be worshiped everywhere they go.
This mod ensures that happens by adding in a quest to the game that allows the player to become the High King of Skyrim. With this activated the player is able to move into the castle and assume the throne, but with that comes a wealth of new features and responsibilities. Players are able to then manage their own army, have anyone in the world put to death or imprisoned, or just sit back and bask in the glory of being the king. Frostfall - This mod is interesting in that it completely changes the way that Skyrim is played.
Since is eternally cold, Frostfall adds in several different survival elements that allow the player to keep track of the weather and determine how to survive out there when it gets below freezing. The new systems allow the player to keep track of what the temperature is, how well their clothing is able to protect them from the cold, and a host of other unique gameplay features.
This mod is even compatible with Skyrim's many DLCs and a host of other mods.
